Guy Keen
Chief Operations Officer
Guy began his career as a firefighter in Merseyside in 1991, he rose quickly through the ranks and progressed through a number of specialist leadership roles, highlights of which include the Sporting Events Director, Liverpool 2008 World Firefighters Games and Group Manager heading up a joint Police-Fire Taskforce. Guy spent 20 years of his Fire career as a senior fire officer and over this time led 3 different directorates with portfolios for Operational Response, Prevention, Protection, Health and Safety and Operational Assurance. As part of these roles he gained extensive experience as a member of the Service’s Strategic Leadership team. Guy also held a number of roles with the National Fire Chiefs Council, sitting on the working groups for Home Safety and Bulk Waste Fires, and he was joint Vice-Chair of the Protection and Business Safety Committee. Since retiring from his Fire career in 2021, Guy has established himself as landscape photographer and also operates as a business consultant within the fire and rescue sector.
